A new hair loss treatment system that educates and guides Self-prescribing home users as if they were being hand-held by a clinical trichologist has been launched by Ahead Solutions UK Ltd.
MINOX-ve EPG is a new two part specialist hair loss treatment system - that can be used for all male and female generic hair loss conditions. It is being hailed as a first for consumers of hair loss treatment products in the UK.
EPG brings together a winning, clinically used hair loss product range coupled with an industry leading home user's treatment programme, which takes users through six key areas of hair loss treatment.
Never before has the Self-diagnosing home user been so informed; the series of expert guides that come standard with MINOX-ve EPG have been written by professional trichologists with over 50 years clinical experience in treating every single hair loss condition imaginable.
"Consumers needing hair loss and thin hair treatment products are almost always uneducated about the root cause of their problem and the most effective solution for it." says MD Lee Cunningham.
"With over half a million hair care products available online in the northern hemisphere it is no wonder why so many people end up feeling despondent. They end up using a series of products that do not work because they're either not fit for purpose or they're simply a snake oil."
"The information included with EPG is outstanding. It's very valuable and home users of hair loss treatments would simply not usually be given this information unless they paid for pricey private consultations with registered clinical trichologists - their GP certainly wouldn't be able to provide them with this level of information. It's specialist information but written in plain English so that anyone can understand and use it."
Hair loss conversations by the watercooler...
The trouble is that people's purchasing decisions are often influenced by conversations with uneducated friends or with colleagues 'by the watercooler' . You can just hear 'Sandra' in the office telling 'Amanda' "My Dave used minoxidil and it didn't work for him but he tried this cream from Ebay and that seemed to do something I'll send you the link... blah blah"
Many consumers just do not go down the right avenue to source the right information about treating hair loss or they assume nothing works. They end up buying cheap and buying twice, or three times, make that four, five, six and still without a result.
Whereas if they had visited a clinical trichologist in the first place they would have been given correct information about the root cause of their hair loss and their expectations could have been set with an accurately prognosis.
Hair loss - The absence of evidence is not evidence of absence
Another issue that fuels the hair loss market's continuum of product migrating consumers is caused by the combined effect of uneducated consumers with a 21st century quick fix mentality; if it doesn't work within a month they either try another product or give up for a while before buying yet another latest 'wonder fix'. The same pattern is repeated until baldness prevails.
Such baldness by that time is likely to be irreversible. If only they had taken the time and shelled out on a clinical consultation - an amount that would only have been a fraction of what they'd end up spending on an endless stream of ineffective products - their outcome may well have been so very different.
But they give up far too soon; they don't know that the absence of evidence is not evidence of absence! They can't see any results above the surface so they assume there are no results below the surface [of their scalp].
They simply don't have access to the critically important information about treating their hair loss from an expert in the field. Information such as: -
Put simply, knowing the answers to these questions will definitely maximise the results of any home user's hair loss treatment programme. It's the information that you would only usually receive by an expert if you were to fork for expensive consultations with a registered trichologist.
It would take a national government campaign to educate society to stop falling for the advice received at 'water coolers' around the country, so we've done the very next best thing. We've consulted for an extended period with not one but two of the UK's most esteemed registered trichologists - from two different overarching bodies, and we've written the guide that answers all the above questions.
The information that is provided free with MINOX-ve EPG would cost hundreds of pounds if acquired through clinical consultations and hair loss treatment visits.

I'd begun to notice more hairs than usual disappearing into the plughole when I showered, so I decided to do something before it was too late! I had my scalp checked at a clinic and learned that I have telogen effluvium (I think). It's difficult to keep track of how much hair you're losing, especially when you keep it pretty short, but I was certain that things were getting worse.
A quick bit of research on the internet (I know, Dr Google!) told me that sometimes my condition can last a long time, other times it can be treatable and reversible so I decided to take control and do my best. Hence me buying this Minox product (and some other stuff).
It's easy enough to use just a matter of getting into the ritual, keeping the product handy and remembering to use it. I like the cool sensation it creates for a few minutes after application, and the menthol smell which is refreshing.
I thought it would be unreasonable to expect quick results, but was quite impressed to notice a definite slow down in the amount of hairs I was losing after about six or seven weeks. The improvement has been a mild surprise but a good one!.
I am also taking the MINOX-ve Micronutrients supplement (one a day) and using the same brand shampoo too which, although pricey, I do actually prefer over the T-Gel brand I used prior. Every little helps, as they say, and a bottle of shampoo does last a long time with my short hair. It's an affordable luxury with the added benefit of helping me keep hold of my hair!
Originally I bought from the minox-ve website but as I am running out will definitely reorder soon, and Amazon is just too easy. I also found the product to be a slightly better price on Amazon so will purchase from here in future.

I'm male in my late 30's. On my fourth bottle of this product so all together I have been using it for just over three months.
I first became conscious of what I thought was an unusual amount of hair loss around a year ago – eg when washing hair and on bed pillow in the morning. I'm pretty sure it wasn't an overnight thing, just gradual and it didn't seem to calm down.
I’ve tried two other products for a total of around five months without any noticeable results. One was a caffeine shampoo by Alopcin which had good reviews and the other was a spray bought on Ebay (... I know ). I had a gap of about three weeks before I began using this product (MINOX-ve).
Ordering and receiving
Each of my orders arrived fast - by the second day (my first order from Amazon was my third bottle). Like my first two orders it arrived recorded delivery in a strong plain brown tube without any marketing or branded franking which I like.
The product is in a small sealed clear packet with a warning label and a leaflet with instructions
How I’ve been using it
At first I stuck religiously to the instructions applying once a day in the evening but admit I’ve missed the odd few occasion when working away from home etc.
Application is straight forward, just spray on affected area and rub in. I apply to all areas of my head as I didn’t seem to be losing hair from a specific area, so about 6 – 8 squirts each time for me.
I experience a cool tingling sensation on my scalp almost immediately and this can be quite strong but it wears off after about 10 mins. It tingles more after shampooing I’ve noticed. I think all this is due to the menthol that’s in it. I like this. It reassures me that this product is actually doing something.
My hair loss reduced very quickly. Before my first bottle ran dry I’d noticed a marked improvement when rinsing away shampoo – not nearly as many hairs travelling toward the plug hole! It's not returned. I'm aiming to reduce use to once every every two days then hopefully three, four etc.
The product has a menthol / medicated smell and it is alcohol based so it smells kind of surgical too which I like. As mentioned I like the feeling it creates but this might not be for everyone- I wouldn’t like to say.
Small bottle size – just 30ml a three month supply? Would be better.
I did think it was expensive when I saw the bottle size but then after months with no results from cheaper products I’m quite happy to pay for something that works for me. Looking back I wonder how much longer it would have been before the hair I was losing would have been noticeable to others so I'm glad to have found something that resolved the issue.

I've been wanting to thicken my hair and increase its growth...
Hair Loss Caused by Helmet? Solve it fast with MINOX-ve
Lots of frequent helmet wearers experience an increased rate of hair fall. We've had a large response to campaigns on one of our sister websites that look after health and safety for motorcyclists from people who worry about the amount of hair they notice on the inside of their helmet when it is removed.
Most often this condition is a form of alopecia referred to as Traction Alopecia; and it is often experienced by those who wear tightly fitted head wear or have tightly braided hair or hair styles.
Traction Alopecia is caused by the constant tugging and pulling of hair. The characteristics of traction alopecia is patches of hair loss in specific places around the scalp. For those having tight braids this may be at the front of the forehead where hair is pulled most tightly.
For helmet wearers this condition can be quite disconcerting as it may be perceived that the hair loss is being caused by general use of the helmet when in fact it is a physical characteristic of the helmet rather than any biological condition of the wearer.
Nevertheless Traction Alopecia may be treated effectively with MINOX-ve because the solution contains a vasodilator that will encourage fresh blood supply to the localised area that is losing hair causing a localised increased rate of hair growth.
Treat Helmet Hair Loss
If you are a frequent helmet wearer such as a motorcyclist, cyclist or perhaps you work in the security industry where wearing a helmet is essential then traction alopecia is an inherent consequent of wearing a helmet regularly for long periods. Treat traction alopecia hair loss with MINOX-ve for the best chance of regaining your normal hair loss rate in the fastest possible time.
Minoxodil has an allegedly efficacy or success rate in around a third of those that use it. It can therefore be hard to understand why major retailing websites across the EU such as Amazon and Ebay have strict rules on who may sell it.
Only those with a license are allowed to trade Minoxidil so Regaine and a hand full of others. Even specialist hair and scalp clinics are not allowed to retail Minoxidil on line though they are allowed to supply those who visit their clinics with this relatively poor performing hair loss remedy.
Minoxidil Alternative Treatment for Hair Loss with a High Efficacy
Minoxidil stimulates hair follicles and growth, but does not reduce dihydrotestosterone (DHT) or the enzyme responsible for its accumulation around the hair follicle, 5-alpha reductase, which is the primary mediator of male pattern baldness in genetically susceptible individuals.[Wikipedia]
MINOX-ve is therefore an aggressively competitor - MINOX-ve also contains caffeine which has been proven to help counteract the growth inhibitory effect of testosterone and gives significant stimulation to hair follicle growth.
This is one of the reasons that those with male pattern baldness experience positive results through using MINOX-ve - coupled with it's other powerful active ingredients for the treatment of hair loss , MINOX-ve is an excellent alternative treatment to Minoxidil and a better priced proposition.
Latest Hair Loss Products Reviews and Testimonials: Real or Fake?
I remember reading somewhere that testimonials and reviews on products or services on websites in the US had to be genuine otherwise there could be legal implications. Sounds fair.
There are over half a millions hair care products (including hair loss) in the Northern hemisphere alone. They are all competing against each other and creating fake reviews and customer testimonials is easy to do. Why it is almost expected.
Independent product and service review sites that allow business owners to display a current rating on their site help but we've even read about webmasters setting up fake ones! OMG! Where does it end?
MINOX-ve Reviews: Really Real. Genuinely Genuine.
When we purchased the rights to retail MINOX-ve we decided on a system whereby we only allow it to be sold from a handful of sites and Amazon UK, DE, ES, IT and FR). Amazon customers are given an incentive to review our product positively (this is not obligatory of course) and we'll send a free product once.
Collecting these genuine MINOX-ve reviews, testimonials and feedback allows us to link directly to each review on the Amazon website showing that they are reviews by verified purchased by Amazon shoppers.
Beware Fake Reviews and Testimonials!
We've been in the hair business a long time. The rise of the internet there has brought about a level of what we would definitely call crime that has not before been present; everyday people hiding behind their computers.
On-line shoppers claiming non-delivery for items not sent by recorded delivery and business owners tricking and stealing from customers by misleading them into thinking their products and services are liked more than they are in reality.
Do your homework and be careful out there. Until next time...
